Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked a return to the classic sextet arrangement of previous albums. It was a more ferocious, consistent effort that had an edge that was stronger than Hydra. Its more punk-rock sound was indicative of the maturation of group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's greater proficiency on the drums, as well as a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
